Go Daddy Hit By Hackers

Web hosting firm Go Daddy was out of action yesterday after suffering what seemed to be an attack from ‘hackers’.

Founded in 1997 Go Daddy is one of the world’s largest domain name registrar and Web hosting providers and specialises in helping small businesses.

Although thousands of websites hosted by GoDaddy.com went down for several hours Go Daddy say that ‘At no time was any sensitive customer information, such as credit card data, passwords or names and addresses, compromised.

A Twitter account, @AnonymousOwn3r, had said that “all servers” of Go Daddy had been taken down.
