o2 Network Failure: Have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again?

Thousands of O2 customers have not been able to make calls, send messages or use data since the networks major failure that started yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

In an update at 8am this morning, o2 said that their network service has now been restored and that customers who were affected should now be able to make and receive calls.

The network have said they their 3G service is starting to restore and customers should expect to see a gradual return of data services as the day progresses.

o2 have suggested the Customers affected may wish to try the old ‘turning it off and on again‘ trick as service returns.
